Annuity Disclosures (A) Working Group
Life Insurance and Annuities (A) Committee

Mission

The main work of the Annuity Disclosure (A) Working Group will be to review the NAIC Annuity Disclosure Model Regulation to improve the disclosure of information provided for annuity products, including indexed annuities. Disclosure is an important consumer tool which should be used in conjunction with the NAIC Suitability in Annuity Transactions Model Regulation to ensure a suitable product is purchased. The Working Group will review the disclosure model to ensure that it supplements the suitability model in the best possible way.
