The Consumer Connections (D) Working Group conducts its assigned tasks via conference calls and at NAIC National Meetings; however, it will not be meeting at the NAIC Summer National Meeting. Notice of upcoming Consumer Connections Working Group conference calls will be posted on the Conference Call Calendar, I-SITE/StateNet and MyNAIC.org.

Consumer Connections (D) Working Group to:

Provide a forum for dialogue among the stateconsumer service representatives to share best practices and enhance consumer advocacy efforts;

Provide aforum for dialogue among state consumer service representatives, consumer groups, regulators and theindustry regarding current marketplace issues;

Advance recommendations to the Market Regulation andConsumer Affairs (D) Committee for further interaction with appropriate technical working groups andreceive tasks as assigned by the Committee.—Essential
