FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SAVE THE DATE: 2009 NAIC/NIPR KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Nov. 6, 2008) - The NAIC/NIPR E-Regulation Conference will celebrate its tenth anniversary next year, when attendees gather April 27-29, 2009, at the Westin Crown Center in Kansas City. Over the past decade, the E-Regulation Conference has proven itself to be the premier insurance regulatory business and technology event. It features informative sessions on many facets of insurance regulation, including producer licensing, rate and form filing, market regulation, technology and company licensing. The E-Regulation Conference - which attracts more than 600 regulatory and industry attendees - includes keynote presentations from state insurance regulators, updates on key NAIC membership initiatives and the latest technology solutions. In addition to interactive panel discussions and hands-on training, attendees learn about key business partner offerings and interact directly with state producer licensing, company licensing, rate and form filing, and market regulation staff. The Westin Crown Center is located two blocks way from the NAIC's Kansas City office, connected by a climate-controlled walkway called "The Link." The Westin is minutes away from attractions such as Liberty Memorial, Union Station, downtown, the Power and Light District, the Country Club Plaza and nearby theaters and dining.
