  • Author Phil Gerbyshak, the “Make It Great Guy,” will offer a session on how to “recession-proof” your life. • Wendell Potter, senior fellow at the Center for Media and Democracy and an NAIC funded consumer, will share perspectives on changes that consumers would like to see in the area of market regulation, including health care reform.
  • Regulator-only sessions will provide overviews on technology implementations of Web-based services for consumers, the industry and state insurance regulators.
  • A “birds of a feather” discussion will provide a forum for IT regulators to exchange information in a more casual format on the topic of state technology collaboration.
