The 2009 Consumer Connections (D) Working Group meets at the NAIC National Meetings and conducts its assigned tasks via regularly scheduled conference calls. Notice of upcoming Consumer Connections Working Group conference calls will be posted on the Conference Call Calendar, I-SITE/StateNet and MyNAIC.org.
2009 Charges
- To provide a forum for dialogue among the state consumer service representatives to share best practices and enhance consumer advocacy efforts;
- To provide a forum for dialogue among state consumer service representatives, consumer groups and industry regarding current marketplace issues; and
- To provide policy oversight for the NAIC’s Consumer Information Source.
The Consumer Connections (D) Working Group is chaired by Commissioner Wayne Goodwin (NC) and vice-chaired by Commissioner Joel Ario (PA).
