Accounting Practices and Procedures Task Force
Financial Condition (E) Committee

The mission of the Accounting Practices and Procedures (E) Task Force is to identify, investigate and develop solutions to accounting problems with the ultimate goal of guiding insurers in properly accounting for various aspects of their operations and to modify the Accounting Practices and Procedures manuals to reflect changes necessitated by task force action and to study innovative insurer accounting practices which affect the ability of regulators to determine the true financial condition of insurers.

The following Working Groups report to the Accounting Practices and Procedures Task Force. Please see the working group's pages for specific information and charges.

Revisions to SSAP No. 10–Income Taxes

Revisions to SSAP No. 10--Income Taxes represents the conceptual changes adopted during the Fall National Meeting. A joint call of the Statutory Accounting Principles (E) Working Group, Accounting Practices and Procedures (E) Task Force, and the Financial Condition (E) Committee will be scheduled at a future date.
