Updates to the Accounting Practices and Procedures (AP&P) Manual

ID and Password for updates adopted June 2008 through March 2009 REQUIRES PRE-PURCHASE OF THE AS OF MARCH 2009 AP&P MANUAL :
Beginning in 2008, access to new updates adopted after March 2008 will be included with the pre-purchase of the subsequent year’s Manual (As of March 2009 publication.) Purchasers of the 2009 AP&P Manual may enter a password-protected NAIC Web site and download updates finalized in 2008 through March 2009. This Web site will also include the minutes of the Statutory Accounting Principles Working Group and the Emerging Accounting Issues Working Group for the period of 2008 through March 2009.

Register today to be notified by the NAIC when updates are posted to the Statutory Accounting Web pages (AP&P Manual Updates, Statutory Accounting Principles Working Group, Emerging Accounting Issues Working Group) The NAIC will retain the 2007 database; therefore, if you requested to be updated electronically in 2007 there is no need to resubmit your request in 2008.

Please Note: The As of March 2008 AP&P Manual includes all updates made to the As of March 2007 AP&P Manual during 2007. This Web site will provide access to updates adopted during the Spring 2008 National Meeting.

Please Note: The As of March 20 09 AP&P Manual order will be delivered in two parts: first, the User ID and Password required to access the Updates to the As of March 2008 Manual Web site; and second, the Manual when published in 2009.
