- to support insurance regulators and NAIC staff by providing reference and research services
- to maintain an archive of NAIC publications.
Services to Regulators
Reference & Research
The NAIC Research Library is a private library providing reference service to state Insurance Department officials and their staff. Due to the volume of requests, we will respond to non-regulator inquiries as time and resources permit.
Electronic News Service
Every weekday, the library staff scans news services for current articles and press releases on state and NAIC activities, insurance regulation and legal topics. The articles are distributed to regulators.
Services and Fees for Non-Regulators
- Research (NAIC materials only) $100.00/hour (one-hour minimum).
- Document delivery: $10.00 plus $1.00/page
Please note that the library can not photocopy non-NAIC materials nor entire NAIC publications, including out-of-print materials. Please visit the NAIC Store for these materials.
