Information Resources Management (H) Committee
September 29, 2007
The Information Resources (H) Management Committee met on Saturday, September 29, 2007.
During this meeting, the committee:
- Heard an overview from the Anti-Fraud (D) Task Force on the NAIC Online Fraud Referral System Business and Fiscal Impact Statement and a report from the Technical Consulting Working Group.
- Received an update on the proposed Elimination of the State Private Data Network Business and Fiscal Impact Statement that has been referred to the committee for review, input and recommendation. The Technical Consulting Working Group is currently reviewing this technology request and expects to have a report by mid-October.
- Received a quarterly update for committee-approved IT project requests. The following three projects were completed during the past quarter: 1) Security Infrastructure; 2) SERFF v5 Redesign Phase II; and, 3) Market Regulation Web Services. The remaining projects within the committee’s oversight reported that they were on-time and on-budget including: 1) National Portal Framework – Phase III; 2) State Producer Licensing Reengineering; and 3) Solvency Tool.
- The committee adopted its charges for 2008.
- The committee received updates on the status of proposed fiscal requests by the committee including: 1) Uniform Regulatory Business Model; 2) National Portal Phase IV; and 3) Contact Fusion.
- The committee heard a report from the Information Systems (H) Task Force on several ongoing projects.
Action Items:
- The committee adopted a recommendation to approve the technology request.
- The committee appointed Delaware to fill a vacancy on the Technical Consulting Working Group.
