Producer Licensing (D) Working Group

The Producer Licensing Working Group met on Monday, December 3, 2007.
During this meeting, the Producer Licensing Working Group:
- Discussed Producer Licensing Coalition initiatives and progress of state assessments, advising fifteen state assessments have been completed as of the Winter National Meeting.
- Received an update on the Producer Licensing Manual. The working group was informed that comments are still being accepted.
- Received an update on the current Attachment capabilities. The working group made a motion that supports the building of a regulator warehouse to coordinate the transmission of attachments associated with the licensing application.
- Discussed the State Producer Licensing Reengineering Project. The working group was informed on the background and provided with the iteration status of the project.
- Received an update from NIPR regarding verification of State Business Rules, implementation of states to existing products, and the upcoming January Focus Groups.
- Received an update on the distribution of the Flood Bulletin among the states. The working group advised all states to notify the NAIC of their current status.
- Discussed an interim meeting scheduled to take place at the end of April 2007 following the E-Reg Conference in Kansas City, MO. The working group will provide more detail as the conference gets closer.
- Discussed Crop Insurance Adjuster Licensing issues with the Crop Insurance Working Group.
