The Consumer Connections Working Group met June 16, 2009.

During this meeting, the Working Group:

  1. Discussed Third Party Claims Vendors and the updated Usual, Customary and Reasonable (UCR) Table.
  1. Received a presentation of the results of the Pennsylvania Health Data Call.
  1. Discussed the possibility of holding a public hearing during the Fall National Meeting regarding the Third Party Claims Vendors’ UCR Issue.
  1. Discussed the most recent version of the Complaint Reconciliation Survey.
  1. Reviewed and discussed the Insurance Consumer Affairs Exchange (ICAE) Complaint Data Analysis Position Paper.
  1. Discussed the results of the initial Autism Coverage/Mandates Survey.
  1. Discussed the latest version of the Funded Consumer Representatives Survey regarding informed-consumer purchase information.
  1. Discussed NAIC staff revisions to the NAIC’s Consumer Information Source (CIS).
  1. Adopted the minutes of the May 26, 2009 conference call.
