The Government Relations (EX) Leadership Council met Dec. 7,
2009. During this meeting, the Leadership Council:
- Received an update on financial regulatory reform efforts
from NAIC staff.
- Received an update on health insurance reform efforts from
NAIC staff.
- Received a report from Director Scott H. Richardson (SC)
on recommendations from the Reinsurance (E) Task Force regarding
the reinsurance provisions of U.S. Senate draft legislation
on financial reform.
