The Special Calls Technical Assistance Group (SCTAG) is a volunteer group of insurers, statistical agents and other participants available to state insurance departments for assistance in obtaining data from insurers and statistical agents that is not available from traditional sources. The SCTAG is available to advise state insurance departments on how to obtain better quality data in a more timely fashion and advise where economies may be possible through statistical agents or other less expensive channels.
