Non-Resident Licensing Checklist for Business Entities

Organizational Documents

  • Submit proof of approval from the Montana Secretary of State

Other Requirements

  • Attach a check * or money order for $100

    * Checks payable to Montana Insurance Department

  • In reference to question 23 on the business application, Montana does not require that the producer be an officer, director, etc., nor do they require that the an officer, etc. be on the license. Any individual transacting business on behalf of a business entity must appear as a producer on the business entity license.
