Enter your suggested enhancement as indicated under the Speed to Market Filing Tool listed below. The NAIC will sort through suggestions received by Tool to bring them before the Operational Efficiencies Working Group of the Speed to Market (EX) Task Force for consideration of adoption. Once the Working Group has made a decision regarding a suggested enhancement, it will be deleted from the Tool Suggestion Box web site, but could be deleted by the NAIC at any time for reasons such as inappropriateness or incompleteness.
Key Dates
Key dates pertaining to the review of suggested enhancements were revised by the Working
Group on March 12, 2007.
Suggested enhancements must now be received by December 1 of the year prior to the Working Group considering adoption. The Working Group will review for consideration of adoption the suggestion enhancements during the NAIC Spring National Meetings (beginning with the NAIC 2008 Spring National Meeting). The NAIC is to post the adopted changes to its website that year by November 15. The effective date of the adopted changes is to be January 1 of the following year.
Change dates will occur annually beginning January 1, 2009. The following time-line is presented for clarification:
Suggestions received after December 1 will not be considered until the following annual review period. However, the Operational Efficiencies Working Group reserves the right—where a suggestion is considered essential by the NAIC—to bring it up for consideration at any time.
